Worshiping the God of Glory and serving others are both essential for human flourishing in God’s world. The Bible tells us we were created to enjoy relationship with God and share in God’s work in the world around us (Genesis 1-2). In the New Testament we are again reminded of the centrality of worship and service when the priest Zechariah looked forward to the coming of Jesus and celebrated the redemption (rescue) that would enable us to “worship God without fear…all the days of our life.” (Luke 1:68-79)
During worship we sing both traditional and contemporary hymns and songs. We read together the Old and New Testament scriptures that reveal the Big Story of God’s restoration project through Jesus. We explore the Bible through sermon, teaching or conversation. We pray together, celebrate communion, hear stories and testimonies from members of our church community and renew our commitment to following Jesus in our daily lives.
Whether you are visiting, new to church or looking for a church to belong to, you are welcome to join us on Sunday.
